What is soap for peace?
Here at Julia Marie we have a core value of promoting Peace. Help us benefit Montessori schools that demonstrate values of Peace. Starting in 2019, a percentage of all proceeds from our Soap for Peace program will go to selected Montessori schools.
Why montessori schools?
Montessori pedagogy focuses on the social, intellectual and moral development of a child. Dr. Maria Montessori believed that if education truly focused on the psychological and spiritual needs of the child it could bring peace to the world, in essence end war. What Montessori School(s) Benefit from Soap For Peace?
A percentage of all of our proceeds from Soaps for Peace will be donated to Montessori schools. We will focus on Montessori schools that serve underserved children in and outside of the United States.
How does my Montessori school sign up for fundraising?
Soap for Peace allows Montessori schools to fundraise for themselves. For each bar of soap sold the fundraising Montessori school will receive $2. Additionally each bar of soap sold, $.40 will go to one of our Soap for Peace schools. If your Montessori school is interested in a school fundraiser you can contact us for more information.
